The route through Germany is not, as it is in the Netherlands, one path with one name. It is a conjunction of many local and regional paths, with at times parts of the pilgrim’s way to Santiago, the ‘Jakobsweg’ in Germany) and strange interconnecting paths. Sometimes it seems like áll roads lead to Santiago which is highly exaggerated. Still, followed by many.
Sometimes I am at a loss which one to take next. I then take the one that has the best feel (and going downhill), not always the best choice.
